Sports Massage unlike the name suggests is both for sports persons and non-sports persons. It has physiological, physical and psychological benefits. It combines massage and stretches to the soft tissues of the body (including muscle, tendon and ligaments), to increase the range, flexibility, endurance and quality of the tissue or scar tissue. It aims to reduce pain, tension and to prevent injury and assists with healing and recovery by stimulating blood circulation, metabolism, lymphatic drainage and the dispersion of lactic acid. Each treatment will be tailored to the client’s specific physical needs.
Outside the treatment room Anna likes to spend time with her family. She has a strong enthusiasm for sports including swimming, running and hockey. She also enjoys more gentle pursuits such as walks on the beach or cycle rides in the countryside with her Daughter.
