Jayne is an experienced Personal Trainer and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Exercise Instructor.
Having previously been an Examinations Officer for the Institute of Criminal Justice Studies at Portsmouth University, Jayne’s love of sport and dance has taken her into a different direction. This has resulted in her becoming an experienced fitness instructor and personal trainer with over 30 years’ experience. Her love of exercise and personal wellbeing gave Jayne the inspiration to start Sansom School of Fitness a fitness school offering multiple classes for adults and children in various disciplines including gymnastics, cheerleading, Legs, Bums & Tums (LBT), circuit training, Pilates, and boxercise.
Over the years of training clients Jayne has seen the impact that illness can have on the body and a patient’s personal wellbeing. This led to Jayne wanting to help patients improve and preserve life through the development of physical activities and programmes. Jayne studied at Loughborough to become a Pulmonary Rehabilitation Exercise Instructor. She is a member of the British Lung Foundation, Fitness Professionals & British Gymnastics.
At The WOW Clinic, Jayne is happy to provide rehabilitation to clients with all types of respiratory problems and develop personal training programmes using her vast experiences which she has undertaken throughout her career. Each treatment is individually tailored to each patient.
Away from work Jayne enjoys all sport, running, dancing, walking her dog and spending time with her family. She has run a number of half marathons and the London Marathon twice.
Jayne is at The WOW Clinic on Tuesdays and Fridays.
