Nicky has been practising Yoga for about 7 years and teaching for 2 years. She has spent 14 years in Financial Services and came to Yoga as a way of finding space and calm away from a demanding job. Over the years of practice she has spent time enquiring about how to use Yoga in your day to day life to support greater well-being, both physically and mentally. She is passionate about helping people understand how to create greater balance in their lives.
Training with Sally Parkes Yoga in 2017, Nicky continued her studies in 2018 with Yoga Therapy for Anxiety with The Minded Institute. In 2019 she completed her Yin Yoga training with Norman Blair.
In her teaching, she encourages her students to tune in with how the breath and body feel, looking for space and balance in the practice, using a blend of her studies and practices to support improved wellbeing.
