Sandra Mowat

Qualifications: BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy MCSP AACP; Registered Member of Health Professions Council; Member of AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists)

Sandra qualified in 1990 from The Queens College (now Glasgow Caledonian University) with BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, is a Chartered Physiotherapist and a registered member of the Health Professions Council.

Sandra has had experience working in Romania, for a Blue Peter charity. She was part of a peripatetic team of therapists providing treatment for children, whilst training and educating local staff. She has also worked at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, where she gained valuable experience in all aspects of neurological rehabilitation. Sandra has provided physiotherapy for the outpatients of day centre and the inpatients of a 20 bedded ward, whilst managing a small community led caseload.

In 1997, Sandra relocated to Hampshire and continued to develop as a community musculoskeletal and neurological physiotherapist working at a variety of hospitals and satellite locations around Portsmouth and Chichester.

At The WOW Clinic, Sandra provides Physiotherapy for general musculo-skeletal conditions and sports injuries for all age groups. She has great experience in all aspects of neurological rehabilitation; and is qualified in acupuncture for neurology.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find Sandra enjoying all types of exercise from hot yoga to skiing, to swimming off Hayling! And certainly, happiest at the top of a hill..especially after having scuffed through some autumn leaves…
